The artist traces out the wavy outlines of the hills and mountains of Scotland...A very simple form that is sufficient to represent the beauty of Scottish nature...Our imagination then fills it with fields and flowers under a clear sky, with clouds bringing rain or revealing the sun. The hills come alive as though we too were in the same place, the evocative force of these simple lines is complete: the force of the ideas that have created reality. Exact form but abstract has this power.
Rosa Giovanna Magnifico Panza di Biumo and PanzaCollection would like to thank the artist, the family and the institutions for granting image publishing.
